Co-parenting is creditworthy
When initially separating after you have divorced, both parents will be confronted with a lot of costs while the income of both parents will not immediately increase. Now ABN bank manager Gerrit Zalm helped destroy the DSB bank of Dirk Scheringa, european aid comes from the Santander bank of spain, via the Internet one can request a loan offer. It seems credit opportunities for people living separated are limited as stated by a question on the site on alimony payments. An editor of Child in Stress reports.
Opposite each alymony payment, there exits a receipt of alymony in the same co-parenting arrangement. Thus alimony in itself does not reduce the creditworthiness of parents wether they are living together or are separated. Newly divorced parents on average have higher incomes than households with large families. Moreover, separated parents generally have less children so they have a higher payment capacity.
Therefore I have proposals for the bank to improve credit facilities for co-parent:

Nine days ago a loan was asked via the website and confirmation was sent directly by email, stating the guarantee of a free offer within two days. In the afternoon an employee of the dutch Kruidvat store calls and requests information about the spending target. It stands out that she mentions the result of the application takes three days. Rural areas suffer with vandalism in traditional mail delivery, correspondence on the loan through a secure email connection is crucial to reach clients with good risk.
The website Santander.nl gives the customer the possibility to calculate the maximum amount that can be borrowed. To be able to do this, information is requested on income, homeownership, net housing costs and whether or not children are residing within the clients house. When requesting the offer, the start date of employment is asked to be put in a text input field plus a combo box, a single date field is sufficient. In order to gain market share, it is important to answer the request of a loan quickly. The acceptation of the customer directly after data entering would be the best.
For now however this is not feasable: an assessment of the application is only possible when data on the gross housing costs and the monthly maintenance amount is known. Suggestion is to include a question about the receipt of monthly alymony, which is just as common the payment of alymony. The receipt of alymony by the applicant extends the basis for Santander for secure crediting. A question about the number of of children residing, has importance for the calculation of lift. In my opinion these suggestions give a much more exact understanding of credit worthiness, that the question on net housing costs may be unnecessary.
In the Netherlands adequate disclosure on outstanding loans already exists through the credit reference business in Tiel. Of more interest is to obtain guarantees of positive characteristics of applicants. Last year, the housing values got greater public awareness, openness regarding income is behind in this regard. There is will to support in the upcoming Cabinet the provision of tax information on income to the Financial Regulator registered lenders. Until then the bank obtains the certainty of income by requesting a copy of the last annual statement provided by the employer.
Willing to help banks with sales automation to speed up the loan sales and thereby reducing risks. Still this summer period to be hired as a freelancer for € 30 per hour.
Because the blog is read by other investment editors of newspapers, radio and television, the press is to address.
